R12 GL : refrence columns issue in R12 ? Does Oracle upgrade patches meant to upgrade from 11i to R1

Hi there,

We recently upgraded from 11i to R12.1.3.

There seesm to be issue where AP Invoice info like invoice id and vendor name is no longer being stored in gl_je_lines refrence 2 and 1 respectively.

In the light of this issue please clarify :

1.When we applied upgrade patches 11i to R12, existing GL information was automatically copied to XLA tables or not ?

This means can we assume that Oracle has provided  a means by which 11i GL data is automatically tranferred to XLA tables in patching process.

2.Also it appears that newly(R12) created accounting data will follow a new path and will be stored in XLA tables as per R12 functionality and  LIKE 11i gl_je_lines.refernce1/2 will not be populated for AP invoices.
