How to Hide Adjustments button or Receipts / Applications Form

Hello,

I would like to hide the Adjustments button on the Receipts / Applications screen.  We were able to hide it with a personalization on the when-new-form-instance event, but then the button reappears later after further navigation.  Is there a menu function or profile that can hide this button, of a better way to personalize this?

There is also an Adjust button on the Account Details screen we would like to hide.  This brings up a screen that looks exactly like the screen from the Adjustments button.  We want to hide that button too, and maybe they can both be hidden by the same modification.
