China Statutory Requirements regarding Ledgers

Is there a legal requirement in China for individual Companies to maintain separate ledgers? There is no such requirement in US. Several companies can use one ledger as long as they are separated in the balancing segment (of course each company will have different balancing segment values)

In other words, if the 4 C's are the same in China, will it meet the statutory requirements to use one ledger for these companies?
