Setting Role and Group based Security Privileges for seeded Attribute Groups (Type: Item Organizatio

Why am I not able to update or edit the seeded Item Organization Attribute Groups in PIM?  I want to set roled and group based security for these standard attribute Groups.  I am able to select the check box for and the update icon for the User Defined Att Groups (Type: Item) and define privileges, but for the seeded Att Groups (Item Organization) I am not able to select the check boxes or update icon to define securities.
Is this standard or is there a way to build role and group privileges for this group?
