Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. backup issue in b/w solaris and ubuntu

Hi team,

We have Ubuntu server with 8gb lun from staorage and the same LUN is maped in solaris (X86) too.

Our requirement is to take raw FS backup of that LUN in solaris to internal HDD or any another LUN of the same unix box.

DD if=/dev/rdsk/..... of=/dev/rdsk/..... bs=8k

open I/O error.
