Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Siebel Business Process & Functionality (MOSC)

BHD is failing at start up with error: Unsupported major.minor version 50.0

After an upgrade to EMS 620, BHD was failing at start up. both ESD and CTD was working fine. The following error was found in stderr.txt file:

java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/siebel/sem/bhd/integrated/OnPremiseMain (Unsupported major.minor version 50.0)

This same server where BHD was installed has ESD installed and they were using the same Java version and are not having any issues with ESD.

What could be the cause of this error?
