Hi,

We would like to format our suppliers payments with the HSBC format called 'IFILE'.

iFile is designed to enable customers to submit different type of transactional instructions to the Bank in one single file.

iFile is a comma-delimited format (csv format) where comma (“,”) is the default delimited. For value that has comma character, an escape character can be used. The default escape character is “?”, this should be placed before the comma character or question mark character.

An iFile file structure of a single payment may have 3 core entries and 2 optional entries

Core entries

-          File Header Record

-          Batch Header Record (with first party information)

Howdy, Stranger!
