Change GL date

We are Rlli and are using Encumberance accounting. We have ann issue that the users need to change the GL date when the month changes.  The current process is that the Managers return it back to preparer or the administartor forwards it or the user withdraws the document through iProcurement.

Is there any automation that can be done so that when the month changes all the pending requisitions GL date also changes to the next month. One university site mentioned that they had a process to do this. But they did not provide any solution to us.

Pls help if there exists a solution. It could save a lot of time.
