Methods of installing Java client on windows 7 pc

We wish to look at a way of pushing out to client PC's the latest version of the Windows Java client which doesn't involve the user downloading it from the E Business Suite Middle tier.

The issue we have here is that as users are slowly migrated to Windows 7 pc's they require the use of a user with administrator privileges to install the Java client. Therefore the usual method of the server initiating the download and upgrade is no longer an option.

However we've found that if we push out the installation using an alternative method, E Business suite will still try to download and install Java! But now since that version of the client is already installed on the pc the installation fails!!
