while running procedure on ETL tool it is hanging some times. Please help me

Hi,
we have to run some procedure on ETL every day in production. every time it is running fine but some times the session is getting hanged for about 2 to 3 hours and after we are killing the job and running it. second time it is not getting hang and going successful. 

while we are facing this session hang issue we are not seeing any error and the session is not giving any error too.

approximately this kind of session hanging is happening twice or thrice in a month.

Please help us for the above issue.
