Oracle Sourcing RFQ vs Auction Events

 Hello,
I am trying to determine from a functional standpoint what is the difference between an Auction and RFQ? It seems like all of the pages / functionality are identical. Can someone tell me what are the main differences between the 2 sourcing events?
