Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What is mean by Layer Costing?

Dear Experts,

We are going to use FIFO costing method for Inventory Organizaton, is there any extra setups used for the FIFO costing method?

What is Layer Costing? Is it the only the other name for FIFO method or is it another thing?

Kinldy help me out regarding its setup as we are using INV & PUR modules only from R2 Supply Chain Modules.
