Account Payable Trial balance report Prepayment is not reflecting correctly

 

Hi,

Case 1:

In the Account Payable Trial balance report we have noted that If the prepayment is booked 

and not paid in the report the Liability Account is showing as debit balance which is logically wrong. 

Here as per the accounting entry the Liability Account is getting credited and prepayment Account is Debited. 

then in the report also there should be credit balance which is not reflecting in the report. 

Case 2

If the prepayment is booked and paid and not applied against 

any other invoices then the entire transactions are not appearing in the report.
