11gR2 Standard Ed running on ASM and being backed up with RMAN

Hi,

The current standard for Oracle database environments at our company is currently Enterprise Edition/Linux running on ASM and being backed up with RMAN.

I am currently involved in a project in which the purchased software includes an 11gR2 Standard Edition database/- linux.

 I did find documentaion that 11gR2 Standard Ed can run on ASM and use RMAN.

I was wondering if anyone is currently running in a similar environemt and has had any issues?
