Preventing users overriding default printer assignment by UBE/version at runtime
Hi Community.
I understand that E1 printer definitions can be configured for specific UBEs, environments, versions, users, etc. But can't these associations be overridden if the UBE is submitted manually? Better, is it possible to prevent the printer being overridden at runtime? I'm looking at my check printing jobs being forced to a specific printer, but I don't want the submitting user to optionally print to a local printer instead. In this case the issue is with Canadian which I'm told do not require all of the safety precautions of US checks, specifically the need to use magnetic ink.
Thanks.
