Expense Report Notification Error

Hello All,
Expense Report Notification has been errored out with result  Exception. The activity is 'Request Approval Process/Request Approval from APPROVER' .

Following is the error message:
Error in Workflow APEXP/16891 3120: Activity 'APEXP/255014' has no performer.

Please let me know where do I need to check the setups and how to debug this error.
