Backing out ESUs

We have been having problems with some ESus in JDEdwards  so in order to get our environment back to before these,  we have backed them out.  Does anyone know if, once the esus have been backed out,  Do we have to do a Full Build in order to have all objects back to the way they were before the ESUs were applied?
