Split Assets in FA

Hello All,

We are on 11i and are looking for a way to split a quantity of one in Projects into multiple lines in Assets so we can assign the various assets to different locations (i.e. 1 truckload of furniture in Projects becomes 100 separate items in assets). The interface process creates the asset in Post Status but as per my understanding the requirement to split assets here is that it has to be in status of “New”. In the drop down of Queue I see Post, Delete and On Hold. I don’t see the status new for the asset interfaced from projects. Has anyone tried this before
