Field FVBT in F3002?

Does  anyone konw how the FVBT filed in the F3002 field is populated? Does it have any functionality?

 It is labeled as Fixed or Variable Batch Size, and is different from  FORQ (fixed or variable quantity), which is visible using the standard Enter/Change BOM program (P3002).
