How to Link a Custom Object to a Business Plan

Release 20 provides support for linking a Custom Object record to a Business Plan record.  Selecting a Business Plan through the user interface works fine.

Can anyone explain how to link a Custom Object record to an existing Business Plan during an Import operation or via Web Services?  We've tried various values with no success.
