Monitoring - Berkeley Database

While monitoring GG processes - via the jagent - berkeley database - often when stopping a goldengate process - ( for eample an extract ) immediately afterwards the bdb starts logging errors …and during this time the status and metrics are not being reported to the monitoring server …

OGG-01930 ... Thread/process .... failed - Thread died in Berkeley DB Library

as well

OGG-01931 ...Datastore dirbdb cannot be openned

and eventually

OGG-01930 .... Datastore error 'dirbdb' BDB1546 unable to join the environment

Sometimes the repair datastore command will recover but this happens

Has anyone seen this behavior - has anyone found a way to stop this from happening?

Howdy, Stranger!
