Depreciation Adjustment Account in Book Controls

Hi,

Please explain in which situations the entries are generated against the Depreciation Adjustment Account in Book Controls window.

I did an unplanned depreciation for an asset and even in that,  this account is not used, becasue we can specify the account when we are doing the unplanned depreciation.
