Unable to enable sendmail SMTP AUTH on Oracle Solaris SPARC 10
Dear Experts,
I am a newbie to Solaris.
Kindly help to enable sendmail SMTP AUTH.
Our setup details are as follow:
1. Oracle Solaris SPARC 10
2. We are using Sendmail to send mails (using mailx command; The mailx command is configured in crontab scripts. In our setup, we monitor our production systems using crontab scripts. During any critical alerts, mails are fired using mailx command)
3. We are having exchange 2000 on Windows on a DMZ Zone. The mails sent through mailx command from production box, hit the Exchange box; The exchange box forwards the mail to our email ids.
Issue:
Recently, we had faced huge mail spamming issue; which in turn had blacklisted our public IP.
