Problem adding vcpu's to guest logical domain

  Hi,

First time poster on the forums. I'm a relatively new sys admin although I have been working on Solaris systems for several years.

My question is about adding vcpu's to a guest ldom.

I have already completed this procedure successfully on another T4-2 server, ( os 11/11), so in essence I'm repeating the same steps / commands

Hence my confusion

My scenario is:

Hardware T4-2 with 8.2.1.b firmware - 8 cores / 8 threads / 60GB RAM

Solaris 11.1 OS

ldm -V

Logical Domains Manager (v 3.0.0.0.28)

        Hypervisor control protocol v 1.9

        Using Hypervisor MD v 1.3

System PROM:

        Hostconfig      v. 1.2.1        @(#)Hostconfig 1.2.1 2012/08/01 15:09

        Hypervisor      v. 1.11.1.      @(#)Hypervisor 1.11.1.a 2012/08/03 09:46

        OpenBoot        v. 4.34.1

Howdy, Stranger!
