Hello,
When upgrading Oracle database 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.1 I encountered ORA-04030 out of process memory error what resulted in a failed upgrade. The ORA-04030 errors appeared when the database upgrade process reached 65%. The following errors were reported:
ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 12300 bytes (PLS CGA hp,pkxe:buffer);ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 8389132 bytes (pga heap, redo read buffer)

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced similar issues when using DBUA on a 32-bit Windows 2008 server? If so, what was done to resolve them?

Thanks

The source database is on Windows Server 2008 Standard edition 32-bit with 4GB of RAM. It was prepared for the upgrade in accordance with the note ID 870814.1.
