Product Management has released a Statement of Direction for Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting XBRL Functionality. Please see " Hyperion Business Rules Statement of Direction in Note 1508685.1.

"Please be advised that Product Management has published a Statement of Direction regarding the XBRL functionality in Hyperion Financial Reporting.
XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language), is an open standard for preparing, producing and analyzing financial reporting in a computer-readable (XML) file format. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the United States, as well as other regulatory agencies worldwide, requires public companies to file financial statement submissions in the XBRL format.

Release 11.1.2.2 is the terminal release of the XBRL functionality in Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting.  Support for existing XBRL functionality in Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting will follow the published Oracle Lifetime Support Policy (see product Hyperion BI+). Premier Support for Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting release 11.1.2.x ends in April 2015, after which Extended Support is available until April 2018, and Sustaining Support will continue to be provided.

Howdy, Stranger!
