FAH Mapping of GL DFF Segments

Is it possible to map GL DFF segment values (e.g.gl_je_lines.attribute1) through the Financial Accounting HUB?  I reading the following regarding DFFs it leads me to believe it may be possible and that FAH will actually look to do so as long as the context column is there.  It's a stretch to infer this I know but I would hope that FAH would allow you to map attributes to DFF segments and I don't see another option.

Descriptive Flexfield Attributes

Not all descriptive flexfield attributes need to be stored in the transaction objects. At a minimum, the Financial Services Accounting Hub recommends that you define those descriptive flexfields associated directly with the transaction header and lines as sources. For each descriptive flexfield, the context column must be included in the transaction objects. Include other descriptive flexfields that you think are commonly used.
