Change assistant - question

Hi All,
I have installed the ChangeAssistant to my deployment server and was using it but never paid an attention to what exactly it does. I mean precisely where it extracts the ESU I apply. I have set my download directory as E:\ESUDownloads and it downloads the ESUs in there but when I apply the ESU it does not create the directory. I must launch the .JM...exe manually and then I get the directory created so I can see special instructions or so. Is it normal behavior? I was using CA in the previous company (on E900, now I have E910) I
