Log file RMAN database backup

Hi,

I wonder if anyone knows what kind of error messages will show in the log file of an RMAN's 'backup database' when it fails or has errors.  In an 'EXP'  process, I always see 'Export terminated successfully without warnings, or 'Export terminated with errors' when an error occurs.  So, I could write a program to monitor this.  In our new RMAN process, the statement in the log file is 'Recovery Manger Complete' .  I wonder what will show if there is an error?
