Hardware requirements for new OMS server

We are moving off of three clustered OMS servers with 8GB and 2 CPUs each due to server vintage.  There was a load balancing switch in that environment.

 I'm building out a new 12c R2 OEM management server and I need advice on sizing my hardware
  • RHEL6 64-bit
  • VM with lots of available memory and CPU resources
  • Load balancing switch is not available
  • Currently have ~200 database targets

My current plan is to request 32GB and 4 CPUs each on three stand-alone OMS servers sharing a high-performance 11.2.0.3 repository.  

  • Host targets will be directed to either of the two of the individual OMS hosts
