Performance issue for 2nd and 3rd item numebr

Hi

We are on 8.0 and moving to 9.1., tools release 9.1.2.Is there any enhancement in the functionality or improvement in the performance for update the 2nd and 3rd item number in the selected table in UDC-40/IC.Is the performance is different in 9.1 from 8.0? I know there are some additional processing option added in >8.
