User password getting blanked out with IE 8.0

We have multiple users that are experiencing the following issue:

Log in using IE 8.0 entering valid user id and password

They click on log in and the valid user id and password are blanked out

They can log in using other browsers i.e. firefox or safari (iPad) with no problems.

If they launch IE without Add Ons they are not experiencing the issue.

It appears to be machine specific as I can log in on my machine using their ID and Password with no issues.

Has anyone seen this issue and been able to identify what the conflict is?
