VM Templates 9.1.2 Installing the Enterprise Server Virtual Machine

Step: starting Enterprise Virtual Machine: Enter hostname (e.g. host.example.com):

myservername <enter>

Error: ** Invalid hostname

Manual states this

"

This may be a fully

qualified host name. However, for this implementation of Oracle VM Templates,

you must not use a fully qualifed name. You can only use a 15 charater

alphanumeric string with no specail charactes for the hostname."

I do not know if system is asking for full qualified name but clearly is no qualified name for hostname

Any ideas how overcome this error
