R12 Receivables - Late Charges Program Issue with NOT to accrue interest

We are upgrading from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3, In Oracle Receivables we analysed that the finance charges program has been de-coupled from the Statements generation program. a new Generate Late Charges program needs to be submitted to calculate and create the finance charge adjustments.

The problem we are having is in R12 there appears to be a loss of functionality with respect to the control of NOT to accrue interest on invoices.

that in 11.5.10.2, we had an option to calculate the finance charges but NOT to Accrue the interest with an option in System Options screen. So when the statements generation program was run in 11.5.10.2 although the finance charge adjustments are created they are NOT applied to the Invoices.
