Change in Item code not reflecting in parent BOM while copying Engineering item to Manufacturing

Scenario in Oracle Engineering:Item A is FG
Item A BOM consists of B(Subassembly) & C(Raw material)
Item B BOM consists of D & E (Both Raw Materials)
Whenever I am copying Item B BOM to Manufacturing (Item B's Item code changed to B_MFG while copying) its new Item code in Manufacturing is not reflecting in Item A's BOM.
Item A's BOM still shows Item code as B & not B_MFG.
Because of this everytime after copying subassembly BOM I have to replace its Engineering Item code by Manufacturing Item code in its parent Items BOM (i.e. A)
