Top most event is "Logfile sync " wait event

Hi Team,
We are facing performance issue on OTO database which is having customer 3rd party application Shareplex which synchronizes the data from PROD (EBS) to OTO instance thru shareplex application.

And we are seeing the Log fie sync wait event reported to be as a top most wait event.

Can you suggested what parameters can be tunned to reduce this wait event.
