UI Performance Limitation config setting: Unit Stock Count UI Limit

In SIM System Admin settings, there are two parameters:
1. Unit Stock Count UI Limit
2. Unit and Amount Stock count limmit

The default values are like 1500 and 5000 respectively.

The description in IMplementation guide says " Not to exceed the value of the UI performance limitation configuration setting."

Where can i find the value of this UI performance limitation config setting? 

I am aware the values of the above two parameter determine the point after which stock count will be exploded into child counts, so was interested to know how far i can go to avoid creating a child count!!

Any thoughts wud be appreciated
