Installing Linux on a SPARC T5440 - support contract implications
Hello all,
I'm not sure if this is the right section, but since it's a SPARC Server I suppose I should start here.
We have three SPARC servers, all under a support contract which expires sometime in 2014. I'm thinking about switching them to Linux. My question is, would that void the terms of my support contract? I already read the terms and they're ambiguous at best.
Is there a particular part of the "My Oracle" page where I can find this information? Or post the question to a service rep directly? I'm not willing to waste the money spent on the service contract just to switch OSs.
