Unreserve Items that have already been picked

Hello, how are you doing? i hope well.

I have a situation, whereby:

Previous inventory periods are closed
Items have been reserved against sales orders
there is an impending stock take and unable to enter the accurate quantities due to variance between on hand and available quantity
Sales Orders lines are either in picked status or a combination or picked status and awaiting fulfilment
the sales orders are in closed inventory periods
The orders are booked

The question is, is i t possible to:

Un-reserve the quantities (any attempt has been meet with line is already shipped or picked and can not be unreserved, unschedule, etc the lines or entire order
