Problem to get the serial number against a perticular item.

Hi,

We are facing problem to get the serial number against a perticular item.

Below is the scenario:-

1. Suppose Item # A024R606 is defined as serial controlled item.

2. We did the receiving transaction of this item with serial number 2012C-P20196074-01. Then this serial number is issued out of inventory against a sales order.

3. Again the same serial number & item received against another PO.

4. Unfortunately customer sent the RMA of earlier shipped serial number 2012C-P20196074-01.

5. We did the RMA receipt of this Item serial number combination & again did the shipping transaction. Now the problem is we can see onhand qty as one of that item however unable to find the serial number attached to it. I checked the current_status of that serial number from mtl_serial_number table & found that current_status is 4.
