NetApp announced the end of availability of the “NetApp NFS Client for Sun Cluster” software package

 Hi,
this is an information about 'NetApp Enterprise Storage Systems (NAS)' on Solaris Cluster (Sun Cluster). 

NetApp announced end of availability of the “NetApp NFS Client for Sun Cluster” software package effective October 15, 2012. End of support will be effective on October 15, 2013, for existing customers. The official NetApp announcement is available on the NetApp support webpages (To view the link one must be a NetApp customer with a support contract). This software package implements the I/O fencing and quorum device for NetApp NAS solutions. With the removal of this package NetApp NAS will no longer be supported as shared storage in a Oracle Solaris Cluster configuration.
