Prepaid Data - Managing hanging PDPs

 Does anybody have experience of Mobile data and managing hanging data sessions in a Prepaid data context?   Its a well known issue in a data network that data sessions can hang, unfortunately this can also lead to open reservations on the charging system, which can have the knock on effect of early notifications and preventing the setting up of further data sessions,
