How to Separate one Process Property value into two Process properties.

Hi,

In Workflow we are getting response from external system as "MTO/21-Dec-2012" and which is storing in one of the Process property.
Here we are trying to separate response into two values. like Value1: MTO Value2: 21-Dec-2012 then wants to update these into two siebel field values.

Request you to please let us know how to separate one Process property value into two different Process properties to fulfill this requirement.
