how to burst eText file

Hi,

i'm using a data definition file and the XDODTEXE program to produce my file.  i would like to use bursting, but need it to be linked (or automatic) to the running of the program.  with an oracle report i can add an after report trigger.  how do i do this with the XDODTEXE program?
