If serial numbers are manually entered on child work orders they appear on the parent parts list however, the quantity to issue does not default even though the issue type code is "U".

If serail numbers are system generated on the child work orders thay do not appear on the parent parts list and must be selected from the item location nor does the quantity to issue default.

The system generated serial numbers must be on the parent parts list because they are unique to the child work orders.

The quantity to issue must default and not act like a manual issue.
