CTI Migration issue related to Explicity Record
We have an issue in Siebel 8.1.1.7 where the users could not wrap up the CTI call after disposition an Opportunity record. But in siebel 7.7, the users are able to wrap up the CTI call successfully.
Siebel 7.7 steps:
1. User updated the Offer Outcome and Reason LOV in Opportunity record
2. Clicked Call-wrap button in CTI tool bar.(without explicitly saving the record)
3. The Opportunity record is saved and call wrap is successful.
Siebel 8.1 steps:
1. User updated the Offer Outcome and Reason LOV in Opportunity record
2. Clicked Call-wrap button in CTI tool bar.
3. User is getting the error message to save the record explicitly.
Siebel 7.7 steps:
1. User updated the Offer Outcome and Reason LOV in Opportunity record
2. Clicked Call-wrap button in CTI tool bar.(without explicitly saving the record)
3. The Opportunity record is saved and call wrap is successful.
Siebel 8.1 steps:
1. User updated the Offer Outcome and Reason LOV in Opportunity record
2. Clicked Call-wrap button in CTI tool bar.
3. User is getting the error message to save the record explicitly.
