Error when clicking on "View Appraisals in People Hierarchy"

Hi,

We have created a custom responsibility. To this we have attached the functionality "Appraisal" that is under "Manager Self Service" responsiblity.

The manager is able to update the pending appraisals etc. He is able to see the completed appraisals.

But when he clicks on the button "View Appraisals in People Hierarchy" to view employees who do not directly report to him. (Employees under his supervisor)

He gets an error message "You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator."

Is there any parameter setting or profile option through which this can be resolved.
