Asset Amount on PS_DEPRECIATION and PS_DIST_LN

If I retire an asset via "sold", the amount contains a 3 digit cent (ex: $500.002) but when I retire an asset via "scrapped", the cent amount is 2 digit.  Where can I change the setting for the "sold" so that it is also 2 digits after the decimal point?
