Best way to use smart view shared connection from production, test and development

Release smartview 11.1.2 and above.  Since http://workspace:19000/workspace/SmartViewProviders can point to only one environment at a time.  I would like to know what is the best way to switch shared connection among, production, test and development.  To change the URL in smartview>Option>Share connection URL, seems time consuming, hopefully better solution is available.
