Query around Patch 7461070 and it's suitability for Linux x86-64

Apps 12.1.3

The Linux flavour of AD Upgrade Driver for 12.1.1 (patch 7461070) appears to be available for Linux x86 only.
We are about to start an E-Business Suite upgrade to Release 12 and are moving to an Linux x86-64 architecture for the application tier. Application of this patch is part of the pre-upgrade tasks. Is the Linux x86 patch suitable for Linux x86-64 as well?
